Short description

Jolinda van Heusden has been working as a pathologist at MUMC+ since March 2025. Her primary areas of interest are gynecopathology, mammopathology, perinatal pathology and cytology. She participates in various multidisciplinary meetings regarding patient care. In addition, she participates in the supervision of medical residents and teaches medical students.

Educations

Jolinda van Heusden studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam where she graduated as an medical doctor in 2014. Following this, she trained as a pathologist at MUMC+ from 2014 to 2019. In 2019 she was certified as a pathologist after which she worked as a fellow in gynecopathology and mammapathology at the MUMC+. From 2020 to 2024 she worked as a pathologist at Aarhus University Hospital  focusing on gynecopathology, neuropathology and perinatal pathology. From 2024 to 2025 she worked as a pathologist at Pamm Eindhoven.

She also started training with the International Pediatric Pathology Association in 2024.
