Over
Elizabeth Morreel studeerde van 2013-2019 geneeskunde in Antwerpen. Aansluitend begon zij in het MUMC+ aan haar specialisatie tot arts-microbioloog. In 2023 startte zij daarnaast met promotie-onderzoek binnen het NWO-project DARTBAC, met als onderwerp optimalisatie van diagnostiek voor prothese geassocieerde infecties. Sinds 2024 is ze aangesteld als staflid binnen de afdeling Medische Microbiologie, Infectieziekten en Infectiepreventie van het MUMC+.
